Cooked for dinner, Wednesday, 2/5/2007
Easy, but time-consuming. All up, it took two and a half hours from start to finish (I started skinning the legs just before six and dinner was on the table at 8:30 p.m.). The duck and orange together smelled great while cooking. I enjoyed the result, but my partner was unenthusiastic, partly because he prefers meat without bones. It didn't look quite like the picture in the magazine, but I did depart from the recipe a few times.
cost: Somewhat pricey. $18 for the duck, for a start.
